TELUS team members, alumni, and ambassadors took part in the 20th annual TELUS Days of Giving May 31, with a volunteer day at the Sunshine Coast Botanical Garden.

This local initiative brought together volunteers for a gardening day aimed at maintaining and enhancing the beautiful botanical gardens. The fruits and vegetables of their labour will have an even deeper impact – all food grown will be donated to the local food bank to help nourish the local community.

“Sunshine Coat Botanical Gardens is so grateful to TELUS for all of the many ways they have supported us over the years,” Mary Blockberger from the Sunshine Coast Botanical Gardens said in a press release.

“For the 12th year in a row, we welcomed a group of TELUS volunteers who rolled up their sleeves to assist with planting, weeding and general maintenance, working side-by-side in support of a greener, more food-secure future for the Sunshine Coast.”
