The second annual Sunshine Coast Multicultural Festival was held Friday, June 29 at the Seaside Centre. Jean-Pierre Makosso was MC for the colourful festival that included ethnic music and dance from a dozen or more countries, traditional cuisine, fun activities for kids, a showcase of national dress and information booths on the lawn. The free event was hosted by the Welcoming Communities program, a project of Capilano University, and Sunshine Coast Community Services Society.
