The Self Employed Women’s Network (SEWN) held its second spring socializer and AGM on April 6 to a packed house at the Gibsons Curling Club.
Over 80 Coast-wide self-employed women came to the event to meet, exchange ideas and solutions, and win prizes donated by fellow members.
They also elected a new board of directors: Paula Howley, Donna McMahon, Kim Banks, Mardell Buryniuk, Elaine Connors, Dawn Bezaire, Alexis Harrington, Jen McParland, Christina Stewart and Brittany Sheppard.
SEWN holds monthly regional meetups and at least two major events a year. The next will be their Fall Business Fair.
