A sunny July afternoon provided a beautiful setting for Slow Sundays, the summer afternoon musical variety show at the gazebo in Roberts Creek. The July 19 performers included singer-songwriter Grant Olsen with his laid back West Coast style, and banjo-ukulele duo Whiskey Business (pictured) with Philip Pollock and Stephanie Lavoie. They so pleased the crowd with harmonies from the 20s, 30s, and 40s, that they were asked to do a two-tune encore. The lineup of July 26 performers includes David King performing his poignant originals accompanied by Peter Hill, starting at 1:15 p.m., plus Bigger Bits of String and Friends with some new works and old favourites at 2:15.
