The Sechelt Garden Club’s Community Development and the children of L’École du Paçifique elementary school at the final painting of the disposal bins to accompany the Busy Bee covered hydro box behind the Municipal Hall, Library and Aquatic Centre flower wall. Penny Lyle, her team, local artist/francophone Yzabel Milton and the children have completed the garden club’s three-year project to “flower-up” the rock garden and cheer up this Sechelt area. Inspired by the hydro box wrap, the children’s colourful paintings show appreciation for nature, pollination and sustainability in our environment while providing a cheerful lift to this area.
