The 25th Seedy Saturday event is Saturday, March 14. This year, it’s a Seedy Crawl that includes events at two venues: at Roberts Creek Elementary School, hosted by One Straw Society, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and at the Roberts Creek Masonic Lodge, hosted by the Farm Gate Ecological Farmers’ Market Society, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
There will be dozens of vendors, featuring local seeds, farm goods, seedlings, plants, mushrooms, manure and hay bales, as well as a beer garden, petting zoo, delicious global flavour lunch dishes, live music, and workshops on homesteading skills such as solar cooking, tiny homes, seed saving, container gardening, and soil building.
