The Elphinstone Secondary graduating class of 1958 held their 60-year reunion at the home of Doug and Arlene Baird in Gibsons on Sept. 26. Of the original 20 grads, 13 are still alive and eight of the grads were able to make it to the reunion. Everyone enjoyed a fresh salmon on the barbecue and a baron of beef. The next morning they all went to the Gibsons Public Market for a hearty breakfast before heading home. Attending the reunion were: Lorne McKibbin, Sue McKenney, Larry Peterson and wife Shannon, Barbara Chaisson, Gerda Molson, Bob Lamont and wife Ruth, Lloyd Burritt, Larry Obrien and wife Merle. The grads are hoping to do it again in two years.
