Sunshine Dragons Abreast members gathered at Sechelt Hospital on Wednesday, May 13 to thank the frontline workers. Ten members turned out for the event. “Some team members are currently undergoing cancer treatment so it was nice to say a special thank you,” member Gillian Kydd said. “We can’t paddle right now because of distancing but we can make a noise at 7 p.m.” The group has a Zoom meeting every week but this was a rare opportunity for them to see each other again in person, though from a distance.
