All About Flight returns to the Sechelt Airport for its third year on Saturday, Sept. 22 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
A recruitment day for the Royal Canadian Air Cadets 858 Skookumchuk Squadron Sunshine Coast, the event is an opportunity for the Air Cadets to showcase their skills learned during the year: survival, shelter building, first aid, and more.
“We also have fabulous plane displays from our sponsors and from those throughout the Lower Mainland,” said event publicity coordinator Joan Thibault. “This year we are hoping to have the owner of the first all-electric airplane registered in Canada attending.”
There will be free hot dogs, onsite draws and a raffle draw at 2:05 p.m.
