Trade bottles for books

Halfmoon Bay

The Grade 7s at Halfmoon Bay Elementary are having a bottle drive on Saturday, Jan. 12 in the school parking lot from 8:30 to 11.30 a.m. to raise money for books. Let them take care of all your holiday empties. Contact Wendy at 604-551-8461.

Two weekly Hatha Yoga classes will be offered beginning the week of Jan. 14: Advanced Hatha Yoga on Wednesdays, and a Hatha Yoga and Relaxation class on Thursdays. The latter is a gentler class for those looking to relax deeply, release stress, and enhance flexibility. It is well suited to those new to yoga or returning to their practice after a break or for people seeking healing from illness or injury. To register, call the Centre at 604-740-0898 or email srmhc@telus.net. See  www.selfrealizationcentrecanada.com for more.
