The Pender Harbour Community Choir is pleased to welcome the Naramata Community Choir to the School of Music Saturday, May 4 at 2 p.m. Both groups will perform, by donation.
In celebration of Science Odyssey Week, a nationwide festival of science and technology, the Ruby Lake Lagoon Society invites everyone to drop by and explore with microscopes at the Iris Griffiths Centre, Saturday, May 4, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Enjoy the wetland and take a closer look at the world of aquatic insects, pond dipping and viewing insects.
A financial literacy series: “RRSPs and TFSAs What should I know to help me save for later?” will be held May 7 at 6:30 p.m. Come to learn the benefits and strategies for investments at the PH Community School.
Harbourside Friendship, Thursday, May 9 will be a fun-filled event when the students of Grades 5/6 come to the get together. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. and lunch is served at noon at the Hall. Drop in is $10.
Women’s Connection will be holding a Strawberry Tea May 14, 10 a.m. at the School of Music.
The Pender Harbour Music Society’s Coffee House proudly presents outstanding local performers, Friday May 10 at the School of Music. Come and enjoy Patricia Barnett, singer, songwriter, pianist; Ukulele Madness led by Nikki Weber; and the multi-talented George Connell, singer, songwriter, author.
