Halfmoon Bay: No pickleball on Monday

Pickleball is cancelled on Monday, Feb. 17, as the school will be closed for Family Day. It will resume regular days, Mondays and Wednesdays 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., subject to closure due to weather conditions. Check with HMBCommunity.org for updates. Cost is $4/per session (first time is free) at Halfmoon Bay Elementary School gym, 8086 Northwood Rd. There are three courts set up – beginner, intermediate, advanced – and all equipment is included along with instruction and coaching.

Plans for the Halfmoon Bay Country Fair are starting, and a committee is being formed. Anyone wanting to join in the fun of setting up, please contact me at teknight@telus.net. The Fair date is set for July 11 and 12.
