Coast Reporter Radio: Safe consumption sites and the ghost of ferry protests past


This week on Coast Reporter Radio: The Sunshine Coast seems to have hit a significant tipping point in the opioid crisis as substance users set up an unsanctioned safe consumption site to get the attention of health officials and local governments. And, the Coast may also be at a significant tipping point when it comes to discontent with the ferry service so we look back at the ferry protests of 2014 (see below for show notes).
