See sea lions frolicking in Squamish

Squamish's Harjit Singh shot the footage and sings in the video.

Squamish's Harjit Singh shot this footage and sings in the video. Sea lions are seen swimming around and resting on logs in Squamish's Mamquam Blind Channel.

'It's actually about spirituality,' Singh said in a phone interview from the Squamish Sikh Gurdwara, or Temple.

He said the song shares a metaphor.

The "creature in the water" represent humans and the lyrics say, "don't leave this ocean, otherwise you will die,"  Singh said, explaining it is a message to Sikhs not to stop seeking their truth.

It means to stay connected to honesty and the Guru Granth Sahib teachings, or Sikh scripture.
