Whistler's mayor and council appointed Jackie Bissillion, owner of Whistler Personnel Solutions, to the Whistler Housing Authority (WHA) board of directors at its June 15 meeting.
The appointment comes at WHA’s recommendation, after a call for submissions in May.
Bissillion takes the seat of outgoing director Jon Decaigny, whose two-year term expired on June 22.
She joins Mayor Jack Crompton, councillors Jen Ford (chair) and John Grills, RMOW chief administrative officer Virginia Cullen, G.D. Maxwell and Dale Mikkelsen on the board. Michael D’Artois sits as a representative of the Mature Action Community.
