Beryl Sheridan Myers celebrated her 90th birthday with family and friends on Saturday, Jan. 10.
Myers came to Canada from England in 1946, the war bride of Bill Sheridan. They moved with their young family to the Sunshine Coast in 1956.
During those early years in Selma Park, the community hall and the local Legion were favourite spots to socialize over table tennis, crib and music.
Beryl was also very active in her church, the Calvary Chapel.
She married Mark Myers in 1993.
About five years ago, Beryl moved to Greencourt, where her mischievous laugh can often be heard.
