Sunshine Coast businesses and residents came together on July 20 to support local youth at the inaugural Junior’s Charity Invitational. Through their support, over 20 youths will have the opportunity to receive full annual Junior Membership at Blue Ocean Golf Club, including rental clubs, range balls, accessories and lessons.
Proceeds from the event will open the door for youth to come and enjoy the tangible benefits of golf while learning to play in a supportive, safe and fun environment.
“We are honoured to host the Junior’s Charity Invitational to benefit youth throughout the Sunshine Coast,” said Chris Lowe, teaching professional at Blue Ocean Golf and owner of Lowe Golf Scores. “We are deeply thankful for the sponsors and attendees’ commitment to our mission in providing us the opportunity to introduce kids and families to the excitement and values associated with golf.”
