At 225 pounds, Theo Kontekakis of Gibsons will take on 250-pound National Bronze Medalist Sukh Sahota of Surrey in a heavyweight special attraction at Saturday’s War On The Shore 6 boxing event in Gibsons. “These are two huge, solid men with boxing skills who throw bombs,” Sunshine Coast Boxing Club founder Rick Shannon said. “A must see fight for boxing fans.” War On The Shore 6 will be held at the Gibsons and Area Community Centre on June 1. Boxers from across B.C. will be on the card. Boxing starts at 6 p.m., doors open at 5 p.m. Tickets are available at the door for $30.
