Sunshine Coast Men’s Hockey League kicks off season

The Sunshine Coast Men’s Hockey League kicked off the 2018/19 season on Saturday night, Sept. 8, as the Gibsons Marks Cutters faced off against the Kings in a preseason match at the Gibsons and Area Community Centre.

The Sunshine Coast Men’s Hockey League kicked off the 2018/19 season on Saturday night, Sept. 8, as the Gibsons Marks Cutters faced off against the Kings in a preseason match at the Gibsons and Area Community Centre. The Cutters narrowly edged out the Kings by a score of 6-4.

The regular season is due to start on Sept. 22 featuring six teams in the competitive open league.  Teams vying for the coveted Sunshine Coast Men’s Hockey League trophy this season include last year's champions Custom Hawks, Oilers, Kings, Bruins, Hitmen Hockey Club and the Gibsons Marks Cutters.
