Skater of the Month

Skater of the month for November is Isabella Watts. Isabella is seven years old and attends Grade 2 at Kinnikinnick Elementary. Isabella says she loves everything about skating! She also says she loves seeing her friends, and Ms. Lesleigh and Mr. Daryl. Isabella’s favourite thing in skating is Interpretive Dance. When she’s not skating, she likes to do ballet, gymnastics, climbing, and swimming. Isabella’s coaches Lesleigh Farr and Daryl Austman say, “Isabella travelled for ice during spring to Squamish and in the summer travelled daily to Vancouver. She participates in the dryland training and the skaters Ballet Class at Waldorf and is fully committed. Isabella participated in the Jingle Blades competition with 12 other club skaters Nov. 23 to 25 in Mission. Keep up the great work, Isabella!”
