Skater of the Month for September is adult skater Shannon Maclean. Shannon has been working hard to put together two new programs to compete in the International Adult Competition. The event will be held in Vancouver Oct. 10 to 13 hosted at Burnaby 8 rinks. There are more than 300 registered skaters competing from 12 different countries. Shannon will compete in Bronze Ladies III Freeskate as well as Bronze III Artistic. Shannon is a great example of the Skate Canada Long Term Athlete Development Model phase of “Active for Life.” She skates with passion and we wish her good luck and an amazing experience.
