Art Perry used a nine iron from 125 yards away on the second hole of Sechelt’s Blue Ocean Golf Club course to score a hole-in-one on Father’s Day.

Perry was playing with Ray Haag, who witnessed the shot.

The Sunday shot had an “added bonus,” said Ed Boni, the head golf professional at the club, because Perry is a father.

He has been golfing for 50 years and this is his first hole-in-one.
