THE ADVISORY PLANNING COMMISSION

Letters

If we want a plan okayed,

It’s off to the Commission.

They’ll have a look and let us know

If what they want is missin’.

We’ll build it up, we’ll build it back,

We’ll build it sideways too,

It’s the colour that will count,

’Most any shape will do.

We’ll put it up and call it home,

No matter what the look,

We have two, here in the bush

At tranquil Sandy Hook.

They’re big, they’re crude,

they have no style,

They look like chicken sheds,

We pass them by, avert the eye,

We can but shake our heads.

But never mind, they passed the test,

For APC they’re right,

They look a lot like Lego blocks,

But they’re not Black and White.
