Reconsider self-checkout

Letters

Editor:

We have two major grocery stores in Sechelt. Most of the time I go to both.

Recently at one I was in a line of five people and was approached by a staff member who encouraged me to use a self-checkout till.

I can imagine how demoralizing it must be to ask fellow community members to assist in potentially lowering your hours or even putting you out of work.

I left a note for the manager. Add two cents to every item if you must, but reconsider this practice.
