An open letter to our MP and MLA:

I sure would like to know why we here in B.C. do not have access to Canada’s COVID Alert app meant to reduce spread by identifying spread hotspots and anonymously alerting us if we might have been infected. After learning that my iPhone 6 lacked the operating system and could not be upgraded further to accommodate the app, I discovered we are not included in the provinces and territories where it can be downloaded and activated. So spending the extra money for the iPhone 7 was useless! Can our MP and MLA please do something about this? We are eager to do our part to stem the pandemic and many have done really well at that, but the absence of this tool, even if not fully employed where available, is truly disappointing.
