I have no problem at all with the new dual-language signs being installed on Hwy. 101. In fact, I quite like them.
However, I am mystified by the fact that the English language name has been changed to include brackets.
I conclude that I now live in a place called (Gibsons).
What shall I tell my friends, etc., when they write to me? Does Canada Post know and has it amended the listing of postal codes to reflect this name change?
Just wondering.
