It is a bit surprising for the Sunshine Coast, that seemed upset by the past provincial Liberal government’s fundraising methods, to be against subsidizing provincial elections through the tax system (the Question of the Week vote was 21 per cent “Yes” and 79 per cent “No” to subsidize).
Surely this is the most benign and fair way to pay for elections while eradicating the influence of money.
