RV stolen in Gibsons may have left Coast on ferry

RCMP say a motorhome stolen in Gibsons this week may have left the Sunshine Coast. The RV was stolen from the 600 block of Industrial Way and was last seen on the evening of Tuesday, April 2.

RCMP say a motorhome stolen in Gibsons this week may have left the Sunshine Coast.

The RV was stolen from the 600 block of Industrial Way and was last seen on the evening of Tuesday, April 2.

“It is believed that the motorhome may have left the Sunshine Coast on the first ferry from Langdale to Horseshoe Bay on April 3,” Sunshine Coast RCMP said in a release.

The Ford motorhome is described as 28 feet long, white with tan-coloured trim and is bearing B.C. licence plate GW778V.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the Sunshine Coast RCMP or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Meanwhile, a 2019 black Honda Odyssey van stolen Monday night in downtown Sechelt was recovered Thursday. Also on Monday, police recovered a 2002 Dodge Caravan in Langdale. It had been stolen the previous week on Marine Drive in Gibsons.
