RCMP, firefighters and paramedics responded to a single-vehicle rollover accident Friday night that sent a van driver to hospital.
According to Sunshine Coast RCMP media spokesperson Const. Harrison Mohr, the accident occurred on Highway 101 near Burton Road. Traffic was tied up in the area as first responders attended to the scene.
“Due to some downed Telus lines, the van could not be towed from its location, and Telus was unable to remove the lines on Friday,” said Mohr, adding that he expected the van would be removed Saturday morning.”
Mohr said RCMP will provide more details on Monday morning.
