Volunteers have finished installing a new commemorative sign in the parking area for the trails around Phare Lake northwest of Sechelt. The sign, funded by Sunshine Coast Community Forest, is part of a larger project to install several educational signs in the area. The volunteers who visited the area were dismayed to find the frame built to hold another sign had been damaged by vandals.
