Earthquake felt along Sunshine Coast

The earth was rocking a bit Saturday night after a magnitude 3.5 earthquake was felt from Gibsons all the way up to Pender Harbour. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the magnitude 3.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the magnitude 3.5 quake centered approximately 12 km west of Vancouver and occurred at approximately 8:12 p.m.

Facebook and twitter were abuzz with the news with people reporting feeling the shaking in Nanaimo and Squamish too.

Earthquakes Canada measured it as a 3.6 quake and located it about 26 km northwest of Sechelt.

There have been no reports of any damage.
