Hours before Tom Brady won his seventh Super Bowl on Sunday (Feb. 7), someone won big money on a lottery ticket they bought in the northern capital.

According to the BC Lottery Corporation (BCLC), a BC 50/50 ticket purchased in Prince George was drawn with the winning numbers to a total of $73,076.50.

The numbers were 350883, was revealed at the game's 3 p.m. draw and the ticket was bought at Westwood Public House.

BC 50/50 unveils its winners at four different times each day; 1 p.m., 3 p.m., 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.

"We only draw from tickets sold, so there’s always a winner," the BCLC explains in the 'How to win' section of its BC 50/50 game.

"If you exactly match your pick to the BC 50/50 winning number, you win. The more picks you buy for a draw, the more chances you have to win!"

BC 50/50 allows players to pick up to 15 sets of numbers and can be used up to 10 consecutive draws.

If you bought a ticket in Prince George recently, you're encouraged to double-check your numbers.
