What a way to start the weekend!
According to PlayNow.com, a Lotto Max ticket bought in Prince George is now worth $13 million from the game's Friday night (March 19) draw.
Someone from the northern-capital region correctly matched all seven digits selected for the nation-wide jackpot.
The numbers are 2, 7, 8, 26, 30, 43 and 48 with 25 as the bonus.
PlayNow.com shows 'Prince George - Mt. Robson' as the area the ticket was purchased, so residents who participated are encouraged to double-check and triple-check their stubs.
The BC Lottery Corporation (BCLC) explains the odds of anyone winning a Lotto Max jackpot are exactly one in 33,294,800.
"All lottery prize winners have 52 weeks from the draw date printed on their ticket to come forward to claim their prize," it says in a statement this morning (March 20).
"The specific retail location where the winning lottery ticket was purchased, and the lottery winners’ name(s) will be announced after the winner has come forward to claim their prize."
The jackpot for the next Lotto Max draw on Mar. 23 will be an estimated $10 million.
