The competition team at the Coast Academy of Dance – 40 dancers aged from 10 to adult – participated in the Festival of Performing Arts last month, earning high marks and numerous awards. They then travelled to Burnaby to take part in The Star Talent Dance Competition. The team did an outstanding job and were awarded two high gold (over 85%), 11 platinum (over 90%) two diamond (over 95%), eight first place awards, one “most entertaining” award, one “terrific teamwork” award and one “best choreographer” award.
