The Jazz G6 ensemble has found a way of playing in rehearsal while maintaining safe distance, and incidentally providing a free early evening concert for the neighbours. Weather permitting, the group gathers Thursday evenings on the driveway of trombonist Bryan Airth’s Davis Bay home. Said bandleader John Frederickson of the extraordinary measures, members are “playing their part – while playing their parts.”
