A new art gallery opened its doors Jan. 19 with a reception and open house. Grove Front Gallery, located on the waterfront in Sechelt in The Watermark building, specializes in high-end artworks crafted in wood from both local and international artists. Currently on display are historic ship models handmade in Mauritius, intricate carvings by local artist Juan Carlos Fernandez, sophisticated works from In Element Designs in Vancouver, wearable art from jewelry designers Kerf Accessories, Billy Would Designs and Deep Forest, and home decor items from Kat and Josh Walker and Samm Moore. Pictured are gallery directors Sabrina Wang and Jimmy Cheng with Sechelt Mayor Darnelda Siegers.
