Dynamic duo brings season to a close

Cellist Paul Marleyn and pianist Mauro Bertoli close out this season for the Pender Harbour Music Society on Sunday, May 10 with a 2 p.m. concert at the School of Music in Madeira Park.

Marleyn is an exceptional cellist whose broad and eclectic repertoire ranges from the Baroque period to the contemporary. His tours across Canada as well as the United States, Europe and Asia have garnered him an enthusiastic international audience, which has only been enhanced by his recent collaboration with Bertoli.

Bertoli, born in Brescia, Italy, and resident in Ottawa, is established on the international stage and has been praised by critics for his formidable technique and exceptional sensitivity.

This dynamic duo will provide a truly grand finale to the Music Society’s memorable 2014/15 concert series.
