Just before the pandemic hit B.C. in the spring, students at the Coast Academy of Dance in Sechelt were able to take the classical ballet exams in the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance syllabus. Coast Academy announced this week that all the students, from Grade 2 to Intermediate level, were successful. Registration for the Coast Academy’s 2020-21 dance season takes place starting Aug. 31 online at coastdance.com and in person at the studio on Sept. 3 and 4 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Pictured are Intermediate dancers Lorelle and Ali.
