John Down is best known on the Coast for his quality chocolates sold under the name of Christopher Norman. On May 19 and 20 he and his partner Joe Guiliano opened their home and new bed and breakfast suite in Halfmoon Bay to the public to unveil many of the artworks that Down had painted over 25 years when he lived in New York. His figurative landscape compositions are complex and colourful and represent his passion for the environment.
