People who travelled on three more flights through Vancouver International Airport are being warned of possible COVID-19 exposure.

The BC Centre for Disease Control added the three international flights to its public exposures webpage Wednesday evening.

The flights are:

  • July 20: Delta flight 4523 from Seattle to Vancouver (affected rows not reported)
  • July 29: Delta flight 3898 from Seattle to Vancouver (affected rows not reported)
  • July 29: Aeromexico flight 696 from Mexico City to Vancouver (affected rows: 19 to 27)

“Where information on affected rows in available, passengers seated in these rows should be considered to be at higher risk of exposure due to their proximity to the case,” reads the BCCDC’s public exposures webpage.

Those who were aboard the affected flights should self-isolate and monitor for symptoms for 14 days. Anyone arriving in Canada from an international destination is required to self-quarantine for 14 days upon arrival, under the Quarantine Act.

These flights are in addition to three flights flagged earlier this week. Those flights include:

  • July 27: Air Canada flight 204 from Vancouver to Calgary (affected rows: 18 to 24)
  • July 28: Air Canada flight 855 (LH6812) from London to Vancouver (affected rows: 12 to 14, and 18)
  • July 29: Air Canada flight 343 from Ottawa to Vancouver (affected rows: four, and 12 to 17)

So far, the BCCDC has issued 33 warnings for flights in July, including 18 international flights and 15 domestic.

Between March and June, 63 warnings were issued, including 27 international flights and 36 domestic.
