Businesses, large and small, continue to show their support for front-line hospital staff and others in need as the response to COVID-19 continues.

The Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation, which is coordinating all donations to Delta Hospital staff, has had an outpouring of support.

In the past few days, the Foundation has coordinated donations from Tandoori Flame Restaurants for donating meals, McDonalds Ladner/Tsawwassen for donating coffee, breakfast sandwiches and treats and Lara Cuisine Cafe Bistro for donating soups and baklava.

The Foundation is coordinating all in-kind donation offers at this time. If you want to donate in-kind items to Delta Hospital and their staff such as (individually wrapped) meals, please email info@dhfoundation.ca or call ‪604-940-9695and they will coordinate on their behalf.

Other community donations not connected to the hospital, but also so vital at this time include a donation of hand sanitizer bottles from Camille’s Boutique and Gallery in Ladner to the Nurse Next Door office today.

And Delta South Liberal MLA Ian Paton recognized Brent Kelly Farms on his Facebook page for donating more than 300 pounds of fresh beets and potatoes to the local food bank in Ladner.

“In times of uncertainty, we are so lucky to be able to rely on the generosity of our local producers,” said Paton.
