The Rotary Club of Sechelt has created some portable lightweight eight-foot-high flagpoles, each with a three-by-six-foot Canadian flag, as a new fundraisng tool.
The flagpoles can be rented for a day or weekend and will be delivered and spiked into your lawn by a Rotarian. They will also be removed by a Rotarian.
The club says the flags would be ideal for birthday celebrations, long weekends like Canada Day, business events and to show support for the frontline workers.
The suggested rental donation to Rotary is $20 per day, event or weekend per flag. They can be purchased outright for a donation of $150. Email the club at secheltrotaryclub@gmail.com.
