About 200 people attended a Latin Party in lower Gibsons on Saturday, Aug. 17. It was put on by Olga’s Hair Stories with more than a dozen business sponsors. As well as a live hair show, Latin dancing and other entertainment, the event featured gifts of appreciation from local businesses. Organizers plan to turn the event into a full-blown festival next year.
