Kettle hosts still needed

RBC Gibsons branch hosted the Sunnycrest Mall, London Drugs kettle location on Dec. 11. RBC employees Anita Bullen (left) and Megan Little (right) with Darrell Pilgrim of the Salvation Army started the day as the first kettle hosts. Gibsons Building Supplies hosted and matched donations on Dec. 16. GBS employees Hanna Hrockford (left) and Kaitie Thomas started their day as the first kettle hosts. Kenmac Auto Parts hosted and matched donations on Dec. 17. The Salvation Army on the Sunshine Coast thanks the musicians, volunteers and business community for their support of the food bank, feeding programs and emergency services. The Salvation Army had raised $30,000 as of Tuesday with only seven days left to reach their goal of $60,000. Shifts are still available in Sechelt on Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 23 and 24.
