Greenlane Homes opened the sales centre for Touchstone, its development at Gospel Rock in Gibsons, with a reception for invited guests July 10.

As well as unveiling scale models and other details of the project, Greenlane presented Habitat for Humanity Sunshine Coast executive director Ronnalee McMahon with a $10,000 cheque. McMahon said partnerships with builders and developers in the community are a key part of Habitat’s efforts to build affordable housing. Habitat plans to use the donation to install street lighting at its Wilson Creek project.

Representatives of Greenlane said they expect to have the final approvals needed to start construction of the first of the three phases of the Gospel Rock project later this summer.
