The Gibsons & District Library Foundation’s first fundraising initiative in almost a decade came to a tremendous conclusion, surpassing its $6,500 goal by close to $1,000 with the final tally coming in at $7,456.45. The funds will go toward a state-of-the-art multimedia presentation system that will support ongoing digital literacy programs and enhance the library’s ability to provide the best possible presentations, readings and audience participation experiences.
