It’s tax preparation time and volunteers will once again complete simple tax returns, free of charge, for low-income clients on the Sunshine Coast.
Income limits: individual $35,000; family $45,000 for two, plus $2,500 for each additional dependant. Couples are expected to provide complete tax information for both spouses.
The program does not serve clients with employment expenses, self-employment income, rental property income, or capital gains. Interest income must be less than $1,000.
The program operates from March 1 to April 30,with two options:
Tax Clinics (taxes completed while you wait)
