Turkey
Gibsons churches have come together to serve a free Christmas dinner on Dec. 23 to those who find the holidays a tough time of year.

Several Gibsons churches will work together to provide a community meal to those facing hardship or isolation this Christmas. There will be no payment or donation expected from anyone who attends.

The venue is St. Mary’s Catholic Church Hall at 956 Gibsons Way at Park Road. There will be continuous dinner service from 4 to 7 p.m. for all who come.

The dinner will include turkey, ham, potatoes, mixed vegetables and Brussels sprouts, plus a selection of deserts. Tea, coffee, soft drinks and juice will be provided. We expect to serve up to 250 people.

Families are most welcome. If you are bringing children, we would like to offer them a gift. If possible, please call Kenan at 604-885-7810 to let him know the ages of the children you will bring.

More volunteers are needed, as well as more baked deserts. Volunteers will work between 4 and 9 p.m. If you would like to assist us, please call Kenan at 604-885-7810, or Paul at 604-747-1070.
