April 6 marked the opening day for the Farmers’ and Artisans’ Market in Sechelt. Despite on and off rain and a crazy wind that blew around more than one vendor’s tent, the Market was busy with folks eager for fresh greens, home-baked goodies and creative artisans’ wares. The Market is held on Cowrie Street in Sechelt (near the library) every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., rain or shine.
