Coasters awarded Canada 150 pins


Terry Goulet (left) and Terry Aleck (Coyote) of Sechelt were among 20 exemplary citizens to receive special edition Canada 150 pins from MP Pamela Goldsmith-Jones (right) at her Horseshoe Bay offices on Jan. 24.

Friends and neighbours nominated the recipients of the pins, which were made from reclaimed copper from the roof of the House of Commons.

Other Sunshine Coast recipients included Buddy Boyd, Vicki Dobbyn, Anne Titcomb, Dianne Whelan and Gerry Zipursky.
